The Democratic National Committee's Chairmanship election is being held today in Atlanta, Georgia. Candidates include Rep. Keith Ellison (Minnesota), Former US Secretary of Labor Tom Perez (Maryland), Strategist Jehmu Greene (Texas) and Attorney Peter Peckarsky (Wisconsin). Please use this thread to discuss this election, and please keep the civility rules in mind when commenting.

  • Tom Perez: 213.5 votes
  • Keith Ellison: 200 votes
  • Sally Boynton Brown: 12 votes
  • Pete Buttigieg: 1 vote
  • Jehmu Greene: .5 votes

Candidates needed 214.5 votes to win (out of 427 votes). Because no one received that, a second round of voting will be held.
