Marylanders head to the polls today for the midterms primaries. Polls are open from 7am to 8pm ET.

Notable Races:

Outgoing Republican governor Larry Hogan endorsed long time ally and former Maryland Department of Commerce head Kelly Shultz as his successor. She is up against state legislator and 2020 election denier Dan Cox, who has the backing of Trump. Cox had previously sued Hogan over COVID restrictions.
The Democratic Gubernatorial primary is a crowded melee including notables such as former DNC chair and Labor Secretary Tom Perez, current state Comptroller Peter Franchot, and former Education Secretary John King.
There's an open seat in the 4th Congressional District, where Rep. Anthony Brown is retiring. Former Rep. Donna Edwards is seeking her old job back against former county prosecutor Glenn Ivey.
