UPDATE: Thanks for joining us and asking such great questions! Your voice is vital in the fight against these anti-voter measures. Contact your state legislators and tell them to vote "no" on anti-voter bills. To engage locally, check out your local League of Women Voters. And don't forget to urge your senator pass the For the People Act because we need national standards that protect our freedom to vote! To see all the actions you can take, check out our OutreachCircle.

Hi! We're activists and experts from the League of Women Voters here to answer any question you have about voting laws across the country! PROOF

Since the 2020 election, we've seen a surge in anti-voter bills in state legislatures from coast to coast. We've seen over 300 voting-related bills emerge in over 45 states in the last 5 months.

Our League of Women Voters chapters have been advocating in state legislatures and organizing their communities to oppose these damaging anti-voter bills. And we're fighting them in the courts once they're passed.

We can't let anti-voter politicians take away our voting freedoms—not after we've fought so hard to expand them.

Ask us anything about the shameful anti-voter bills we're seeing and what you can do about them.

The League of Women Voters is a 100-year-old grassroots organization dedicating to empowering voters and defending democracy. We adhere to a strict nonpartisan stance, never endorsing candidates or parties, while also advocating for pro-democracy and pro-equality measures in courts, legislatures, and administrative offices at the national, state, and local level. Providing election information at VOTE411.org.

It's finally Friday! That means it's time to sit back, drink some meiloorun juice, argue about the best character to romance in the Mass Effect trilogy (it's Liara), and talk about whatever your heart desires.

As always remember to follow our civility rules and save any meta feedback for our modmail. Additionally, please keep chat non-political - we want to keep these threads light and off-topic.
