Today's focus will be on how former president Trump and his advisors knowingly lied about winning the election and spread baseless claims of fraud, dubbed the "Big Lie". The Committee has said it will address how the Big Lie was connected to the attack on the Capitol, as well as how Trump's political apparatus exploited stolen election claims for fundraising, "bringing in hundreds of millions of dollars between Election Day 2020 and January 6". Today's Witnesses: - William Stepien, former Trump campaign manager
- Chris Stirewalt, former Fox News political director, whose team correctly called Arizona for Biden, and who was ousted from the network shortly afterwards
- Ben Ginsberg, Republican election lawyer
- B.J. Pak, former US attorney for the Northern District of Georgia, who resigned after a phone call of Trump pressuring state officials to find votes for him was leaked
- Al Schmidt, Republican former Philadelphia City Commissioner
