Hi everyone! I'm Armando Montero, the youngest person ever elected to a Tempe Union school board. I won my election last fall for a seat on the Tempe Union High School District, where I graduated from in 2019. My term ends in 2025. I am also pursuing a bachelor's degree at Arizona State University.

I ran to give students and young people a voice on the board that makes decisions for them on a daily basis as well as focus on suicide prevention, school equity, transparency, and supporting educators. As a recent graduate who understands what our students face, I am ready to bring a fresh perspective to the issues that affect Tempe Union families.
