We're doing a lot in Los Angeles to get ready for the future and have even put out a roadmap (pun intended) to prepare the city for autonomous cars http://www.urbanmobilityla.com/. We think the future is electric, shared, and autonomous to help our city become safe, resilient, and strong. I grew up in Mississippi and have worked on transportation (mostly for people on two feet or two wheels) for the last 20 years on the left coast/best coast.
