Introduction
Welcome to the /r/politics megathread for the primary elections being held today in Ohio, North Carolina, Indiana and West Virginia.
Many of these states feature incredibly competitive primary elections, largely on the Republican side, as Republicans look to play offense in Dem-held Senate seats in 3 of these states (Ohio, Indiana and West Virginia), which President Trump won by significant margins in 2016.
North Carolina is hosting a "blue moon" election this year, an election cycle without any major row offices or statewide federal elections up for election (although there are NC Court of Appeals retention elections).
A number of these states also feature competitive primaries for Congressional and state level races as well. Please discuss any and all developments for these primaries here.
As always, please follow the rules of the sub when posting. If you are in one of these states and eligible, please vote! - The /r/politics Mod Team
