We're running a campaign grounded in the belief that regardless of who your parents are, what side of the tracks you were born on, the color of your skin, your gender or who you love, you have the opportunity and the right to realize the American dream.

With the goal of modernizing Kentucky and its economy, our platform includes investing in renewable energy jobs, forcing the big pharmaceutical companies who've created Kentucky's opioid crisis to pay for treatment, and ending Kentucky's reputation as one of the hardest states to vote in by restoring felon voting rights.

I'm also a renewable energy entrepreneur, currently working on the largest solar energy installation in the Appalachia, which will produce more than 100 megawatts of power and put at least 400 out-of-work coal miners into high-paying jobs.

In 2011, I was elected to statewide office as Kentucky's Auditor of Public Accounts, where I placed corrupt politicians and bureaucrats ripping off taxpayers in jail.

We're running a people-powered campaign free of corporate and special interest influence, and that's why we're the only candidate in the race not taking a dime of PAC money.

Edit: Alright, Reddit! I've got to run but thanks for all the great questions. I hope you'll head over to AdamEdelen.com to read more about my platform, and if you support our no PAC money pledge, help us out with a small-dollar donation at AdamEdelen.com/donate
