Today at 1 p.m. Eastern Time, the United States Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs Mark Milley will hold a press briefing. The topic of the briefing has not been publicly released prior to the beginning of the briefing.

How to watch live

The speech will be livestreamed on the Department of Defense's webpage, defense.gov.
The speech with commentary will also be streamed on CBS.
