Hi everyone! We're the filmmakers of AWAKE, A Dream From Standing Rock, the new documentary that premieres on April 22, Earth Day. We were at Standing Rock during the resistance. We're filmmakers and water protectors.

We are: Academy-Award nominated and Emmy Award winning director/writer/producer Josh Fox (Gasland I and II, How to Let Go and Learn To Love Everything Climate Can't Change), Academy Award and Emmy nominated director James Spione (Silenced, Incident in New Baghdad), director/writer/drone photographer Myron Dewey, founder of Digital Smoke Signals, (*his drone footage helped break the story of violence nationally), and featured subject/co-writer Floris White Bull. Floris is Lakota and comes from the Standing Rock Reservation, she was there from early on, she is committed to the #NODAPL movement and bringing clean energy to the reservation.

Saturday Morning Political Cartoon Thread

It's Saturday morning, folks. Let's all kick back with a cup of coffee, some cereal and share some cartoons!

Feel free to share political cartoons (no memes/image macros, though) in this thread. The subject doesn't have to be US politics and can be from any time. Just keep them political and safe for work.

As an experiment, I'll be putting the thread in Contest Mode for this month, to see if it leads to more diverse content with less downvoting. I will evaluate the outcome of this next meta thread, which will be posted on May 5. Be sure to post your feedback then.
