I grew up here, raised a family, taught public school for 35 years and led my local union. I have a deep love and respect for this state and the people in it – and I know, after a lifetime of facing the same challenges as the people of this district, that I am ready to represent Ohio in Congress. My opponent Jim Jordan and his Freedom Caucus broke Washington... and now he wants us to hire him to fix it. For someone who has difficulty compromising even within his own party, it's hard to imagine him leading the whole Congress and getting anything done.
