| Results thread: Special election for Texas's 27th District Posted: 30 Jun 2018 05:37 PM PDT Today, Texans in Texas' 27th House District voted in a Special Election for Congress. The 27th district was represented by Republican Congressman Blake Farenthold until April 2018, when allegations arose of hostile behavior and sexual impropriety. Farenthold was alleged to have used taxpayer money to settle the harassment suit. 2016 Results: Farenthold beat Democrat Wesley Reed by a 61.7 to 38.3% margin.
