Former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn has offered testimony in exchange for immunity from "unfair prosecution". Reports indicate that Flynn's lawyer has been informed that an offer has been rejected at this time for being "wildly preliminary". Please discuss below, and note that off topic or meta discussion will be removed.

I’m Dan Diamond, POLITICO reporter tracking health care and politics. (And Arrested Development)

Posted: 31 Mar 2017 08:43 AM PDT

Hi Reddit! I'm Dan Diamond, POLITICO health reporter, who's been tracking Republicans' health bill, the White House opioids commission, and a whole lot of politics and policy news. I also write POLITICO's daily health care newsletter and host a weekly podcast; this week's guests were Sen. Susan Collins and Rep. Charlie Dent, a leader of the moderate Tuesday Group that helped kill Republicans' health bill last week.

I know, I'm biased — it's my beat — but I'm convinced that health care is a proxy for the nation's bigger political battles. Democrats think the government has a role to play; Republicans want to roll it back. And the GOP's struggles over health care reveal bigger challenges for that party in the months and years ahead.

I'll be here live at noon ET on March 31 to talk health care, politics, journalism, working in Washington and how it compares (maeby) to Arrested Development. Or anything else you'd like to talk about — ask away.
