A little bit about me is that I am a US Marine Veteran and former AOC staffer. Before I declared my candidacy for Congress I was a bartender, and I still currently live in public housing. What originally inspired me to run for public office was the injustices that I saw being perpetuated against working class people and the struggles that marginalized groups go through. I felt my current representative hasn't been doing a good job at representing everyday people of the congressional district and it doesn't help that he consistently ranked as one of the most corrupt Democrats in DC.
